• Transportation from home to west coast and return.  Kim’s World Travel will arrange connecting flights from home cities with low add-on fares.

ESTIMATED TOUR COSTS

$5,690 per person, double occupancy, based on a group of 15 travelers plus leaders for land and airfrom LAX (to Xian, return from Shanghai) plus air within China: Xian-Jiayuguan, Urumqi-Hotan, Urumqi-Shanghai.  Costs are subject to vendor changes and currency rates.  Single supplement estimate $596.

PASSPORT EXPIRATION DATE

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months following your return date.  For this trip, that means after April 13, 2009.  If you need a new passport, start the process now as there could be delays.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Land:  by check only, not by credit card.
$  200 per person to reserve your place on the tour
$  500 additional per person by March 1
$1600 additional per person by June 1
$1900 estimated final due by August 1

Air: can be paid by credit card (will advise $) or by check at time of booking.

TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the small group size, cancellations can change the financial dynamics of the trip.  Cancellation charges, therefore, are important to maintain the integrity of the trip. Refunds will be made less a fee for cancellations made and confirmed by Mary per the following schedule:

$350 fee if cancelled from March 1 to April 30
$700 fee if cancelled from May 1 to June 30
$900 fee if cancelled from July 1 to August 24

Fees are plus any additional charges made by vendors. No refunds guaranteed after August 24, though an effort will be made to recover some costs.
