Pricing Information
Estimated Tour Costs
$4850 per person, double occupancy, based on ten travelers, subject to final costs from vendors and currency exchange rate. Price includes most of the costs of the trip. Air estimate is $ 1,600 and land estimate is $ 3,250. Costs are subject to vendor changes or currency rates. Single supplement is estimated at $525. A roommate may be available if desired. Passport Expiration Date
Note: Make sure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months following your return date. For this trip, that means after May 30, 2011. Once you have a valid passport, we will take care of acquiring the Chinese Visa in late August 2010.
Tour Includes:
- Round-trip air fare from west coast (probably LAX). New York (JFK) departures should be the same, subject to airline regulations at the time of ticketing

Not Included:
- Chinese Visas. We will advise and arrange for the group to acquire necessary visas later in the summer, prior to the trip.
- Travel Insurance. We strongly recommend that travelers have adequate travel insurance. We will assist in acquiring appropriate insurance later this spring as the group forms up. The cost will vary with the age of the traveler.
- A few meals. The majority of meals are covered, but a few will be on your own. See the details of the itinerary as outlined above.
- Connecting flights. The group leaves from either the West Coast (probably Los Angeles) or the East Coast (probably New York). Kim’s World Travel will be able to arrange discounted connecting flights at the time of ticketing that will be a small additional expense varying with individual needs.
Payment Details:
March 30, 2010: Verbal Commitment to travel
April 15, 2010: $500 per person
June 15, 2010: $1,500.00 per person
July 15, 2010: $1,250.00 per person balance of land costs
Airfare: $1,600.00 (Estimate) Actual cost due on credit card at time of ticketing.
Air fare can be paid by credit card; all other payments must be by check.

Tour Cancellation Policy
Due to the small group size, cancellations can change the financial dynamics of the trip. Cancellation charges, therefore, are important to maintain the integrity of the trip. Refunds will be made less a fee for cancellations made and confirmed by Dwight per the following schedule:
- $500 fee if cancelled between April 15 to July 1
- $800 fee if cancelled between July 2 to September 1 plus any additional charges made by vendors
- No refunds after September 1
